The Australian Housing and Urban Research Institute is hosting a free seminar to discuss the outcomes from two AHURI Investigative Panels (Regeneration in Greyfield precincts and Health impacts of housing) and one AHURI Research Project (Environmentally sustainable resource use).
 
Presentations will be made by:

     

  • Ms Bette Kill, Associate Director-General, Strategy, Policy, Programs and Performance Department of Communities and Disability Services Queensland;
  • Dr Winnifred Louis, AHURI Queensland Research Centre and
  • Professor Peter Newton, AHURI Swinburne-Monash Research Centre amongst others.

 
Following the research presentations, policy and practice discussants will comment on the implications of the new findings from a policy and practice perspective.
 
The seminar will close with a facilitated group discussion and wrap up by Dr Ian Winter, Executive Director, AHURI.
